Season opening was carried out with "25 Million Passengers - Towards the 25th Year" theme with Turkey Regional Meetings held in Venezia Hotel Kundu and bus delivery ceremony held in Antalya - MarkAntalya. Metro Turizm Board Chairman Çiğdem Öztürk said, "We continue our breakthrough with our new fleet investments which consist of 100 vehicles and regional organizational in all of our regions, especially in Antalya and the Mediterranean region. We are working in coordination with all of our units to increase our service standards. Its 25th year is an important milestone for Metro Turizm and as our anniversary draws near, we are continuing our efforts to increase our service standards without slowing down. I am confident that the investments made in the city, especially Antalya Expo, will be beneficial in the summer season of 2016. We will be honored to serve our passengers in the Mediterranean Region as well as in Turkey for 25 years." Metro Tourism Board Member and General Manager Şenol Ayyıldız stated that their aim is 25 million passengers as they enter their 25th year and said, "This season, Metro Turizm is younger, more dynamic and stronger than previous years. We will continue our services in Antalya and all the cities in Turkey as Metro Tourism with our young fleet and broad service network." Ayyıldız also said, "If there is no transportation in Antalya, there can also be no tourism since the city was affected negatively due to the recent events in our country in terms of tourism economy and tourism revenue. We will continue to transport all of our people to Antalya, especially the local tourists, with affordable ticket prices offered by Metro Turizm compared to airplanes. We will have a stronger season in Antalya thanks to the business partnership and investments of our Antalya Regional Manager Mr. Hasan Yılmaz. I wish for a good season and a good year for all of us."

Temsa Sales Director Murat Anıl stated at the ceremony that he has expanded his long-term cooperation with Metro Turizm with an investment which consists of 100 vehicles in 2016 and said, "Today, we will deliver 10 Safir Plus and 6 Maraton buses to Side Tur which has been active in tourism transportation, which will be concluded in business partnership with Metro Turizm in Antalya. The season is starting. We wish success to Metro Turizm in its 2016 targets. Best wishes on our new vehicles."

Metro Turizm-Side Turizm cooperation

Hasan Yılmaz, one of the partners of Side Tur which is active in tourism transportation that will be concluded in business partnership with Metro Turizm in Antalya, said, "We have been active in tourism transportation since 2001. We have around 180 vehicles. The reason we invest in 6 Maraton VIP, 10 Safir Plus VIP, with 2+1 chairs to be able to work in intercity transportation for Metro Turizm. Due to the troubles faced in tourism transportation, we have started our work in intercity transportation. This journey we have set out with Metro Turizm is not a short one, we have made an agreement for 10 years. We aim to increase this investment to 30 vehicles. We have always used Temsa vehicles in tourism. Safir vehicles have always been valuable in tourism transportation. The fact that they have 4-chair advantage is an important factor in choosing them compared to other vehicles with low fuel consumption in their segment.

Beylikdüzü - Beykent agency of Metro Turizm, the leading company of road transportation in Turkey, has entered service with a ceremony on Thursday, November 20, 2014.

Many guests participated to the opening of the agency, which will be run by Ercan Durmuş; some of these guests are Metro Travel General Manager Ömer Alp Emil, Istanbul Metro General Manager Ercan Öztürk and Assistant General Manager Galip Öztürk, Metro Rent A Bus General Manager Cömert Agat, Metro Holding Board Chairman Advisor Yunus Seven, Corporate Communication Marketing Manager Yeşim Sarıtaş, Çarşamba Metro Turizm Manager Camalattin Durmuş.

215th Metro Travel point

Metro Turizm Board Member and Metro Travel General Manager Ömer Alp Emil pointed to the fact that the agency opened in Beylikdüzü is the 215th Metro Travel point. Emil said, "We should not think of these openings as only the opening of an agency. We offer many services to our passengers whom we accept as our guests at these points. Our main target in these points is to increase our service quality and product range."

In his short speech, Istanbul Metro Assistant General Manager Galip Öztürk thanked Ercan Durmuş, manager of the agency, and wished a prosperous business. After the speeches, the opening ribbon of the agency which brings the Metro Turizm quality to Beylikdüzü is cut.

Metro has transported the billiard champions

Turkey Championship 3rd Stage Competitions of Turkey Billiard Federation are held in Antalya between 19-23 November 2014. Metro Tourism, which supports sports and athletes with all its power, sponsors the transportation of the championship organized in Muratpasa Caglayan Sports Hall.

The 3rd Stage Competitions of Turkey 3 Band Billiard Championship, to which 250 athletes participated, are held in Antalya in the sponsorship of Metro Tourism, the leader name of the road transportation sector. As a result of the competitions, Adnan Yüksel gets first place, Murat Naci takes second, Tolgahan Kiraz and Murat Çelik come in third. In the World Championship to be held in South Korea, Turkey will be represented by Tayfun Taşdemir and Tolgahan Kiraz.

President of the Turkish Billiard Federation Ersan Ercan, who stated that the goal is to return first place from the World Championship to be held in South Korea, thanked the transportation sponsor Metro Turizm for its support. Ercan present the thank you plaque prepared for Metro Turizm Board Chairman Şenol Ayyıldız because of the support given by Metro Turizm to billiard, which is the 4th most played sports branch in Turkey, to Turkey Billiard Federation Board Member and also Metro Holding Board Chairman Advisor Necmi Hatipoğlu.
