Metro Turizm and IDO (Istanbul Sea Bus Company), which started a new period in the direct integrated transportation model, shortened the road to Izmir by 3 hours. Mustafa Yildirim, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Metro Turizm, stating the Metro Turizm bus using IDO’s ferry departing from the Yenikapi port shortened the road between Bursa to Marmaris before the inaugural of the Gulf Bridge, told: “Metro Turizm has always been the pioneer firm of its own sector. We crossed the bridges and shortened the roads, once again, this time in integrated transportation, by courtesy of our cooperation with IDO. Now, our passengers from Izmir join their loved ones 3 hours earlier”.
The ‘direct integrated transportation model’ initiated by Metro Turizm and IDO during the summer season, not only shortens the bus journey between Istanbul and Izmir by 3 hours, it also provides the opportunity to get 5-star transportation service.
Mustafa Yildirim, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Metro Turizm, who provided information on the subject, stating the Metro Turizm bus reaching Yalova via the IDO ferry departing from Yenikapi enables the Bursa, Balikesir, Manisa, Izmir, Aydin, Mugla and Marmaris passengers to reach their loved ones earlier, expressed Ayvalik, Edremit, Çesme, Kusadasi and Bodrum passengers will also benefit from the relevant privilege during the period to come.
ISTANBUL-IZMIR JOURNEY NOW LASTS 6 HOURS INSTEAD OF 9
Yildirm, expressing they provided a time advantage of 3 hours to passengers before the inaugural of the Gulf Pass Bridge, stated Metro Turizm is not only the leader of its industry, but also a pioneer when it comes to innovations. He went on: “Metro Turizm and IDO had started a new era in the subject of integrated transportation during the summer season. We were now able to reach Ayvalik through making the Istanbul – Yalova journey by sea. Now, these services cover the entire Aegean Region. Izmir is the city, which is the destination of many journeys towards the Aegean Region. Our Izmir passengers will now have a journey of 6 hours, instead of 9. I believe a time gain of 3 hours is important for virtually everyone.”

Yildirim, expressing they provide service with 2015 model 2+1 seated buses, emphasized seatback screens also prevent the Metro Turizm guests from being bored.
