Metro Holding, the biggest supporter of domestic production
DOMESTIC PRODUCTION AUTOMOBILE ERA IN ALL ASSOCIATES OF METRO HOLDING
The biggest support to the first domestic automobile, whose prototype was introduced by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Isik, came from Metro Holding. Çagla Öztürk, Chairperson of Metro Holding’s Board of Directors, announced domestic production vehicles will be used in all companies displaying activity under the holding, once the mass production is initiated.
Metro Holding has always supported domestic production, as it has shown in its support of domestic automobile. Çagla Öztürk, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Holding, stated, all associates of Metro Holding will use the domestic automobile, whose prototype was introduced by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Isisik, once its production is initiated.
METRO HOLDING IS ALSO A PIONEER IN ENCOURAGEMENT OF DOMESTIC PRODUCTION
Öztürk, in her statement, reminded Metro Holding has always supported the use of domestic resources, and expressed Metro Turizm added to its fleet Temsa brand buses, whose production is carried out by Turkish engineers, particularly during recent years.
Öztürk told: “Metro Holding, with its 20 associates including Turkey’s highway transportation leader Metro Turizm, always continues to be a pioneer. As a firm, which adopted offering the best to our nation and our people as a principle since more than 20 years, we also display efforts to provide you these services through the use of domestic resources.
Since our establishment, we felt the pride of carrying out a vast majority of the activities we displayed in the field of transportation through domestic vehicles. During the recent years, we expanded our fleet with buses whose production has been carried out in Turkey, and we have been a pioneer to the sector with regard to the encouragement of domestic production.”
Çaga Öztürk, stating Metro Holding will once again do its part with regard to the encouragement of domestic production, already gave a commitment that the domestic automobile, which will be produced with the great efforts of Turkish engineers and workers, will be used in all Metro Holding associates, in a period during which national projects are subjected to heavy criticism and are undermined, even during their initial stage.
